WAW Dinner at Mario’s, A Night Carried by Warmth

There are nights that feel simple on the surface, just a shared table, familiar faces, and good food.

The WAW dinner at Mario’s Baguio 1971, graciously hosted and sponsored by Mario’s, was one of them.

From the moment we stepped inside, there was a sense of being held by history. Mario’s has always had that quiet, unwavering warmth rooted in decades of family, stories, and service. And that evening, they welcomed the wedding community with the same tenderness they’ve shown for generations.

a French Onion Soup that arrived like comfort on a cold night,
a Caesar Salad mixed the traditional Mario’s way,
a perfectly grilled Tenderloin Steak with mashed potatoes and ratatouille,
and finally, the iconic Strawberry Jubilee, flaming softly into its own moment of joy.

But as lovely as the food was, it was the people around the table who gave the evening its shape.

Benz Co-Rana, the heart behind Weddings at Work, sat at the center of it all, listening, laughing, creating space for everyone to be fully themselves.
